Retired Rides

Sometimes, either from age, lack of interest, or simply because of the need for space, some attractions and rides are retired from service, never to be seen again. Indeed many people may one year have the time of their life on a rollercoaster, only to return the following year only to find an overgrown piece of fenced off land. The rides and other attractions featured will forever live in childhood memory for those lucky enough to catch them for their brief stay at the park.

A big thank you to Alton Towers, Penguin Books, Sunflower Books, Brian Jones and John Phillips for the massive amount of help they have given in producing this part of the web site.
