Retired Rides : Space Boat

Though we don't know much about this attraction that stayed in the park for only a single season, we do think it was in the space that the Octopus took the following year in 1984.

The Space Boat was a ride similar to the Pirate Ship, except that rather than just swinging backward and forward, the Space Boat actually swung through an entire circle, going upside down several times.

The ride is thought to have had such a short life in the park because of planning restrictions on rides of such height.
