Old MacDonalds Farm

History
Starting life back in 1989 as the Britannia Farm, then changing to the Safeway Farm, the farm yard has now become a proper themed area known as Old MacDonalds Farm. No commercial branding here.

Over the years, the attractions in the area have grown and become more popular with the entire area on this side of the park being redeveloped several years ago.

The farm yard has a barn containing several farm animals such as pigs, lamb and ponies. There are also plenty of rabbits for the children to pet.

There are hand washing facilities in the barn, and it is advisable to use them after handling the animals.

Due to the Foot & Mouth Outbreak, several of the Farm Animals have been destroyed, and the Farm is currently closed to visitors.
